Keep in mind that you may have a difficult time with the upkeep of these rugs, especially in a high traffic area like a family room. Keeping shoes away from the rugs will help keep dirt at a minimum. Your vacuum may have a hard time with a rug containing longer fibers in them, and if that is the case, you can always take it outside and beat the dirt and dust out of it if need be.
